I NEED MORE INFORMATION ON THE PETITE! CAN ANYONE HELP ME WITH THIS INTRODUCTION????
Unlike the ITT/Kellogg Cinderella, the parts in the Petite were NOT interchangeable with the Western Electric Princess. Instead of outright copying the Western Electric parts, Stromberg Carlson used parts similar to the 1543 in the Petite. The base and housing on the Petite were also about 3% bigger than the Princess phone. IS THIS CORRECT???? The only parts that were really interchangeable were the receiver and transmitter elements in the handset. CAN SOMEONE EXPLAIN WHY STROMBERG CARLSON DID THIS????
