June 2008 - One Month Until Tour

Krista is excited to be spreading the Gospel this summer with the Continentals Worship Band. She is about 400 dollars short of your sponsorship, and needs another $550 for rehearsal camp fees. We are trusting the Lord to bring that amount in.

MARCH 2008 - A Letter from Krista's about Worship Band Tour

My name is Krista Stebbing, and most of you know my dad, Bob Stebbing, the Executive Pastor at Cornerstone Bible Church in Glendora. My sister Sarah (18) and I (16), are part of the Christian arts missions team, Continentals. Sarah has served nine times with this ministry, and has gone all over the world including every single state, the Orient, and Africa. I have served three summers starting at age 12 and have traveled through half the United States. I go because I feel called to spread the Gospel and to use my talents for the Lord. God is truly amazing and I love sharing that with whoever will listen.

This Summer: Last year, I took the summer off, but this year I’ve decided to go on a summer Worship Band outreach tour! My sister had an amazing experience when she went and I feel like now it’s where I should be. I’ll be serving this summer from July 5th to August 18th and ministering on the West Coast. My team will also make a special appearance at Continental’s 40th Celebration. Those weeks will be challenging but I know God will work in me and use me for His glory. I am really excited about it! All I want to do is worship God and let him mold me. This trip will truly be incredible. God is incredible!

Support Team: For me to go on this Worship Band tour, I need a support team made up of people who believe in what I am doing and will pray for me through it all. Here’s what I need prayer for:

- That I would be prepared physically, mentally, and spiritually.
- That I make it safely to rehearsal camp in LA
- That the funds come in!
- Health, strength, patience, courage, faith, and wisdom

Finances: I would also like to invite you to prayerfully consider being a financial partner with me. It requires $3,395 for just the tour itself plus another $550 as the training camp fee. These funds help to cover the costs of bus travel, concert outfits, music, programs, and equipment maintenance. My fund-raising is just getting started and I need your help! Your tax-deductible donations may be sent in my name to:

Continentals, P.O. Box 6972, Ventura, CA 93006

Encouragement: Please pray as you decide about supporting my music outreach ministry. In my mailings I have enclosed a card that people can send back to let me know what you have decided. I am very excited and ready for God to use me in His ministry! To request email updates, please write to me at stebbing@dslextreme.com

Thank you so very much for all the love and support you show me on a regular basis, I am truly blessed to have you in my life. – Krista Stebbing

JANUARY 2007 - Sarah's Call to Africa

In 2007, Continentals needed Sarah to serve as Assistant Director on a mission trip to Kenya. She went on a four month US/Africa tour! With God's help we were able to work out the school details for independent study and find financial support from sponsors. It was an agonizing decision whether to leave her Senior year behind, and all her friends and family. After some Kenyaintense days of prayer and fasting, and some amazing turn of events, it was evident that God wanted her to go. Her group first partnered with about 90 churches here in the US to do outreach concerts in 28 states (CA, OR, WA, MT, ND, MN, SD, IA, IL, OH, NY, ME, MA, RI, DE, MD, PA, VA, SC, AL, TN, MO, NE, CO, UT, AZ, NM, TX). Next, they flew to Africa and ministered in Nairobi, Kenya helping at a Compassion International compound in the inner city. Thank you to the Cornerstone Bible Church Missions Committee for all your support, and to all the sponsors who's prayers made Sarah's call to missions possible.

MARCH 2007 - Sarah's Conquers 50 States

Sarah experienced true cold that season. She reported 9 degrees in Maryland. Her 4-month tour is went well. She has been working on giving the invitation during the concerts. This eighth tour means Sarah will have done ministry in all 50 states (including Hawaii and Alaska). The year before she served in the Orient, and this tour toke her to the Compassion International compound in Kenya. Next, she toured for 6-weeks on a Worship Band tour that summer.
SARAH'S MUSIC VIDEO FROM AFRICA

Check out Sarah's new music video from her Africa trip. Many of you were a part of her team for this trip, and we thank you for all that you've done. God did some amazing things on this 4-month trip.

JULY 2007 - Sarah on the Road

worship band

This first time group was amazing and Sarah had a great time. They have their own website at Cworship.org and it includes some pictures and a video.

Krista sang with Steven Harms and the worship band at Cornerstone that summer as lead soprano. She didn't tour that summer, but she's definitely serving. What a blessing God has given us to serve him in such gratifying and rewarding ways.

AUGUST 2007 - We are all home again

We are back after an exciting mission trip to New Zealand and Fiji. Easily the hardest working 23 days we've ever done, we were challenged physically, musically, emotionally, and spiritually. God allowed us to see over 100 people make first time and redidication decisions for Christ. We met a lot of great people in our host homes, who graciously and lovingly met our needs each night of the tour. We bonded with 40 other people on our team, as we worked together, prayed together, studied the Word together, and witnessed together. This amazing experience is one we will never forget. Thanks goes out to Dean Butler, our director; to Bob and Theresa, the assistant directors; and to all our new friends from all over the world. We love you guys! Bula!
