A little helicopter zipping by.
Is all that noise made by such a small soul?
Although there is plenty of food for all,
he greedily defends his feeder.
Not caring that the other could feed
on the opposite side and he would
not miss the miniscule amount of nectar.
Like a fairy he zooms through the trees
Stopping on a lofty branch to rest
for mere minutes before
he is off again to gather the nectar
that fuels his colorful body.
Tiny, fairy-like, wonder.
