Joy of Riding Program

The North American Peruvian Horse Association (NAPHA) Joy of Riding Program has been established to give National recognition to the pleasure and competitive rider and his Peruvian Horse for time in the saddle outside traditional Peruvian Horse Shows.

The horse must be registered with NAPHA and owned by an Associate or Governing Member in good standing in the NAPHA to be eligible for the program.

The rider must be a NAPHA member and maintain membership for each year in which hours are counted. Enrollment in the Joy of Riding Program is required for participation.

Download, print, and complete the Joy of Riding Program Entry Form. Then mail the form to the NAPHA office. You must have Adobe Reader installed to view and print the form.

Just a reminder to all about the Regional ride for #15 and #17 and the Deep South Club ride.

The regional ride is in conjunction with an organized ride at East Fork Stables, Jamestown, TN. This will be a Madre Gras ride April 16, - 19th. There will be trail rides, costume contest, parade, Cajun music and food among other things. Food will be provided for $ 85.00 per person for the week end. The Deep South Peruvian Club ride is May 1,2 at Bushy Creek State Park. It is located in the SW corner of the state of MS. Please make your reservations with billpresley@comcast.com. Mail deposit of 30.00 to Bill Presley at PO Box 2673, Madison, MS 39130-2673. They have the whole park reserved for us, but I hear that the spaces are going fast, so if you plan to go, you need to contact Bill.
