DIVISIONAL STRUCTURE  OF GRAND LODGE

Beginning September 28, the California Masonic Lodges will be divided into nine Divisions, rather than the current five.  Each Division will have between 20 and 60 Lodges.  Our L.A. Masonic Service Bureau Lodges in the greater Los Angeles area will be split between two of the Divisions.  Although renumbered, the existing Lodge Districts will remain essentially the same at this time.

Division V, headed by AGL Vernon Dandridge, will include the Lodges in the northwest Los Angeles City and Ventura, Santa Barbara and San Luis Obispo Counties.  Division VII, led by AGL Douglas Eichen, will cover the Lodges in the northeast  and southern Los Angeles City and County areas,  and all of Orange County.

Hope to see you at Grand Lodge!

Remember!
September is Constitution Observance Month

The 2008 Annual Communication of the California Grand Lodge is about here.  It starts at 1:00 P.M. Friday, September 26, and concludes with the Installation of next year's Grand Lodge Officers at 11:00 A.M. on Sunday, September 28.  The many resolutions this year should be discussed at your September Stated Meetings, and opinions given to assist your Lodge Officers in their voting.

For those attending, the following other activities are also planned:

  • Rededication of the California Masonic Memorial Temple and Window
  • Grand Master's Banquet
  • Third Division Breakfast for the Grand Master
  • Celebration Brunch at the Fairmont Hotel for Ladies and Families
  • Sunday Public Ceremonies

Advance registration for Grand Lodge attendance is no longer required.  You may check in and receive your credentials at Grand Lodge upon your arrival.  However, don't forget to bring with you your current Dues Card, and be sure to order your tickets in advance for the events requiring payment.  No-charge Parking at the Grand Lodge Garage will again be available, but with no in-out privileges.
