About the Instructor
Kathy Zelaya,
founder of TravelVision, earned her M.A. in Special Education in 1988 from California State
University, Los Angeles, is credentialed by the State of California in Clinical
Rehabilitative Services and is AER certified. She is a member of the California
Association of Orientation and Mobility (COMS) and AER.
Since 1988, she has worked at various schools and
agencies for the blind and visually impaired in the greater Los Angeles area, and has
specialized in working with blind and low vision adults.
All work is performed by qualified, university
trained professionals with extensive experience in the field of visual impairment.
Evaluators have masters degrees with an additional field of specialty.
Services are provided by Orientation &
Mobility Specialists certified by the Association for Education and Rehabilitation of
Blind and Visually Impaired (AER) and hold Teaching Credentials in the State of
California. |
