So far, here's the TEXT of the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission complaint I'm workin' on regarding the matter of Lakeland Mills, Inc.'s of Ardmore, Michigan and Lakeland Mills, Inc.'s Mr. Calvin Hunt and Mr. Robert Jensen's PROVEN repetitively failed, unsafe, injury-causing, dangerous, hazardous, defective, product(s) having a greater than marginal propensity for SERIOUS INJURY or even DEATH to, say, an unsuspecting, innocent BABY or others ... and my experiences with Lakeland Mills, Inc. and Mr. Calvin Hunt and Mr. Robert Jensen regarding or relating to the aforementioned matters:

In June 2000 -- TWO WHOLE YEARS AGO -- Mr. Calvin Hunt of Lakeland Mills, Inc. of Ardmore, Michigan, was notified by me that a MAIN SUPPORT HOOK (HARDWARE PIECE) for the chair (bench seat) on their CEDAR LOG PATIO SWING, **SEVERAL MODELS, INCLUDING THE "CF1119 Tete-A-Tete Swing" I purchased. Mr. Hunt denied that their product(s) were defective, and sent me similar (construction, shape, design, and dimensions) "replacement" MAIN SUPPORT HOOKS which also promptly SNAPPED in two (failed) after not much use, causing me and another INJURY and seriously risking the propensity of much more serious injuries or even a HORRIBLE, CRUSHING, virtually DISEMBOWELING DEATH if my visiting toddler relative would have inadvertently crawled under the swing just prior to the failure of the defective, obviously poorly-designed, obviously poorly-engineered, and obviously NOT EVER properly or sufficiently "FAILURE-TESTED" by a reputable, independent failure-analysis testing laboratory (such as Knott Laboratory in Denver, Colorado). Just recently, Mr. Calvin Hunt and Mr. Robert Jensen, the "owners" of Lakeland Mills, Inc. of Ardmore, MI, were once again notified by me (March 11, 2002 e-mail communication and by certified letter of same material) that their "replacement" parts also failed, caused me injury, and that their continued manufacture and dissemination of products having these REPETITIVELY FAILING hardware parts should IMMEDIATELY CEASE until such time as it can be INDEPENDENTLY determined what is needed to keep these otherwise nice products from failing and causing injuries or even DEATH. I also requested a "token settlement" for my "pain and suffering" and "troubles" resulting from their failed products and my exasperating experiences (because they, for the most part, just ignored me) dealing with them and their repetitively failing products - - FOR TWO ENTIRE **YEARS!!**, now - - and in the hope that such a "token settlement" would "entice" them to "do the right thing" for their customers, the public-at-large, their customer's families, and any CHILDREN who may suffer a HORRIBLY CRUSHING, DISEMBOWELING DEATH by the failure of Lakeland Mills, Inc.'s proven repetitively failing product(s). They responded eight days later (March 19, 2002) in a certified letter to me and in other communications (e-mail). Their response was, in essence, a "general denial" (once again and since then) despite the fact that TWO DOZEN (24) high-resolution, color photographs included in my communications CLEARLY INDICATED their VERY DANGEROUS PRODUCT DEFECT(S) and, even though I tried many different methods of "imploring" Mr. Hunt and Mr. Jensen and Lakeland Mills, Inc. to **IMMEDIATELY STOP PRODUCTION AND DISSEMINATION** OF THEIR NOW KNOWN (FOR 2 YEARS) FAILING, DEFECTIVE, INJURY-CAUSING, EXTREMELY DANGEROUS PRODUCT(S), THEY HAVE -- FOR THE MOST PART -- ***CONTINUED TO IGNORE ME*** AND HAVE "CONDUCTED BUSINESS AS USUAL" REGARDING THIS MATTER. This demonstrated ABOMINABLE BEHAVIOR by Mr. Hunt and Mr. Jensen and Lakeland Mills, Inc. particularly incensed me, so I did what I told them I would do: try to notify the "public-at-large", Lakeland Mills, Inc.'s past, present, and future customers and their families or others concerned about Lakeland Mills, Inc.'s KNOWN repetitively failing product(s), KNOWN repetitively injury-causing product(s), KNOWN to have more than a marginal propensity for significant risk of a HORRIBLE, CRUSHING, DISEMBOWELING DEATH to an innocent, unsuspecting baby, and others who may be affected or who may also BE A PART of these matters, such as STOCKHOLDERS, DISTRIBUTORS of the KNOWN defective product(s), and their subsidiaries, etc. Towards this effort, I have spent considerable time creating MANY WEBSITES (almost 30 by my last count) addressing these complex issues and Lakeland Mills, Inc.'s CONTINUING FAILURE to STOP PRODUCTION AND DISTRIBUTION of their KNOWN defective, injury-causing, dangerous product(s), offer REPLACEMENT (with NON-FAILING REPLACEMENT PARTS) OR REPAIR of those of their already KNOWN defective product(s) already distributed, and have posted on many of these websites my CONCERNS, my OPINIONS, and MUCH ACTUAL FACTUAL INFORMATION regarding these matters, including my actual communications with Lakeland Mills, Inc. (including the 24 GRAPHIC, high-detail photographs of their repetitively defective, failing product(s)), their responses, THIS COMPLAINT (to the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission), and other - - even "shocking" - - material in the hope that Mr. Calvin Hunt and Mr. Robert Jensen and Lakeland Mills, Inc. will "come to their senses" and be aware and show some CONCERN for what their repetitively failing, defective, injury-causing products COULD POSSIBLY DO TO AN INNOCENT BABY or other innocent, unsuspecting people, and IMMEDIATELY CEASE PRODUCTION AND DISTRIBUTION of their known repetitively defective, injury-causing, dangerous product(s) and offer REPLACEMENT (with NON-FAILING REPLACEMENT PARTS) OR REPAIR of those of their already KNOWN defective product(s) already distributed. I HEREBY REQUEST YOUR KIND AND **IMMEDIATE ASSISTANCE** IN THIS MATTER for the specific purpose of achieving Lakeland Mills, Inc.'s IMMEDIATELY CESSATION OF PRODUCTION AND DISTRIBUTION of their known repetitively defective, injury-causing, dangerous product(s) and for the purpose of imploring Lakeland Mills, Inc. to offer REPLACEMENT (with NON-FAILING REPLACEMENT PARTS) OR REPAIR of those of their already KNOWN repetitively defective product(s) already distributed AND to offer any person(s) already injured by their repetitively defective product(s) an appropriate "settlement" to compensate these individuals for their pain, suffering, medical expenses, or other related expenses or compensation and for the "troubles" these people had dealing with the "stonewalling treatment" by Lakeland Mills, Inc.'s Mr. Calvin Hunt and Mr. Robert Jensen, who have MOSTLY IGNORED THIS PROBLEM FOR THE **PAST TWO ENTIRE YEARS**. I stand ready to aid you in any means that I might be able to in attempting to resolve this matter as suggested, above.
