water aerobics
Whether you're looking for low-impact cardiovascular work, or want to stay cool while working out, water aerobics is a great way to stay fit without a high risk of injury.
My water aerobics workouts are tailored to the physical condition of each group and can be adapted to the needs of special populations (older adults, perinatal, physically challenged, etc.). Careful attention is paid to injury prevention, proper warm-up, maximizing cardiovascular fitness, and motivation.
I usually begin a series of sessions with fitness assessments so that each participant can track their progress and gain a sense of accomplishment over time.
All participants must be screened for health conditions and sign waivers before participating in any water aerobics class.
