Date: Dec. 13, 2008. (The Saturday
before our shoot.) This is a party for all Regulators (and cowboy shooters)
just so's we can wear all our fancy duds. It will be held at the Lions'
Club's new building at the range in Lucerne Valley. (Meaning: inside, clean,
heated, well-lit, no bugs, no wind, no weather, etc.!) As usual, everyone
can camp at the range, too, to stay over for the shoot the next day.
Note: It is a week before Happy Trails' Curly's
Cowboy Christmas which is on Sunday, Dec. 21, 2008, so anyone who wants
to go to that will not have to choose one over the other.
Time: TBD, (probably 5 or 6-ish until ?)
For food, we will be having roast pig (won at
the Lions' club barbecue!) and assorted side dishes. Drinks are the usual
coffee, tea, water and sodas; it is BYOB for the rest. There will be no
DJ or live band, but there will be music. We plan on having a camera setup
with a nice backdrop for pictures of everyone in their pretties. This is
a simple gathering of friends to celebrate the season and being a Regulator,
that won't break finances!
Costs TBD (and will be MINIMAL, to cover food).
