TRIBUTE BAND OF THE YEAR  

AT THE SOUTHBAY MUSIC AWARDS!!!!

You read that right folks and that's not even the best part. There to present the award to us was none other than JESSE VALENZUELA, guitarist/songwriter for the one and only GIN BLOSSOMS!!!! "Twas an electric night indeed and we were all floating from the experience. What can we say other than THANKS to all involved ESPECIALLY JESSE for taking the time to be there. He had some VERY positive things to say about us after hearing our short 2 song performance and one never knows when he might appear on stage with us so you may just not want to miss any future shows!!

GIN BLOSSOMS DRUMMER SCOTT "KOOZE" KUZMIREK

SITS IN WITH ALLISON ROAD!!!

Allison Road had the distinct pleasure of sharing the stage with former Gin Blossoms drummer Scott Kuzmirek when he sat in with us on "My Hands Are Tied" and "Mrs. Rita"  at our show at Club 705 in Hermosa Beach in early 2005. The energy was electric to say the least! Several times during the rest of our set Scott could be seen holding up his cell phone in front of the stage while we played. We later found out that his fellow Gin Blossoms Jesse Valenzuela and Robin Wilson were on the other end of the line listening to us as we banged away!! How cool is that? We've since done several gigs with Scott filling in for our regular Skinsman Gary Ponder when he's unavailable. THANK YOU KOOZE!!!
